PINK romance


Pink is a colour that people who know me well would not associate me to it.

It is a colour I avoid and dislike to a certain extend. Never in my wildest dream would I imagine myself to be in a pink gown.


The reason why I am convinced to put on this pink gown and curate this set of visuals with My Dream Wedding is because I left aside my ego and gave in to opinions of the team from My Dream Wedding and dearest Daryl (whom shot these photos). The moment I tried on this gown, it was a straight yes from everyone. Sometimes I feel it is okay to let go and try things that you never want to. The results might surprise you!


Same concept applies to picking a suitable gown. Although we all have personal preference of colour and styles but I feel all brides should put aside all stubbornness and sometimes take in other’s opinion. Especially when it is a straight YES! Least try before rejecting. I was really glad I managed to convince myself with this gown. Honestly it is a really pretty piece. Love the back details so much and I would have to thank My Dream Wedding for the opportunity to be in pink, I do not know when will I ever choose pink again but least now I have some visual memories to look back on.

I believe many brides-to-be already had an ideal gown/style in their mind even before entering a bridal parlor to pick the perfect one. Just one advise and something to note, value opinions, it won’t hurt!

I have something exciting to share before I end this post and I think it’ll be something great for couples that are looking for gowns at the moment for their BIG day and actually want to buy instead of renting.

ERNO LASZLO

I cannot agree more with Mr Erno on his take on beautiful skin. It truly requires great commitment. While some of us may be born with great skin by default, it takes effort to maintain and retain those great genes. Those who aren’t so blessed require greater commitments. But nothing is impossible; it is how much you desire.


I am one who commits much time in maintaining my skin. It takes me about an hour to prepare myself for bed, showering, hair drying and slathering all skin products needed. I may be born with blemish free skin but I have my fair share of problems to deal with. Coping with dry skin took me much time, effort and frustrations as well. I’ve tried countless products and have found some great products. I do not stick to one brand because I believe different products have different strengths and I use them according to my skin’s behavior.
.  CLEANSING  .

I do not dismiss the possibility of finding greater products in the market even though I already have products that work great for me. There is always room for improvement.

Given the opportunity to try out a new skincare line is something I would not let go but I do read up before I make the decision to try or not to. The thing that convinced me immediately to try ERNO LASZLO’s products even before reading any reviews is simply, AUDREY HEPBURN and MARILYN MONROE! Erno Laszlo is the skincare brand that both stars patronized, that alone is worth a shot!


I was invited to a Facial retreat at a beautiful hotel and met the wonderful EL team that flew all the way from New York to Sunny O Island, Singapore! EL has an extensive range of products that targets different skin types. It has beautiful packaging as well! Premium packaging I would say!
.  HYDRATING  .

During the facial EL therapist, Judit gave me a full explanation on every step and product that she had picked for my routine. It was such a relaxing session, I almost fell asleep, Judit sure has magic hands really!


I have documented my EL routine into visuals, sectioning them by Cleansing, hydrating, moisturizing and extra care. It is definitely a longer routine as compared to the usual 3 steps routine most of us go through. I am pretty used to long routines so it’s really not a problem for me at all. I feel taking time to take care of your skin is not just a daily routine; it is an overall physical and mental well-being.
.  MOISTURISING  .

Having tried Erno Laszlo products for 2 weeks before I wrote this review is sufficient for me to give some credible response based on my skin’s reaction towards the products.
I must say the products produced a very different kind of texture; it is something that I have not experienced before. I’ll begin with their Signature Soap Bar, I was given two different Soap Bar cleansers, one for day and another for night.


I love the one for night especially, after washing it leaves a thin film of moisture on my skin. That being said, it is entirely different from being oily. To be honest, I was really drawn to the pretty Soap bars but felt it was a little hassle as compared to liquid form cleansers. However, the feeling of massaging a Soap bar onto your face is kind of special, I don’t exactly know how to describe but for me, it is worth the minor hassle.
.  EXTRA CARE  .
Here comes my favorite product of the entire range! The Hydar-Theraphy Skin Vitality treatment! It comes in a pack of 4 and would require a mixture of both the powder and liquid. When applied, it gives off a cold and smooth texture.

Erno Laszlo does not have a counter or store in Singapore and now you wonder where to get them?

LIFE

Hey peeps, I'm here to provide some updates of what's going on and coming up for myself and my store. 

October has been great so far, I've finally gotten a studio of my own, a little space but good enough to get things going. As much as I want to launch my store right away there are still things that I am not satisfied with. I am not one who could make do with problems I know exist, I will try till my death to get it right. I sincerely apologize for the long wait but please stick around, just a little more to go!

November will definitely be a very tiring month for me! I am aiming to launch @storeunda in this month, hopefully everything goes well! And I'll have to get all things prepared before I go on another big trip!

December is gonna be hell lot of fun and adventure for me! I'm tying up with a online store for another exclusive shoot! My team and I have been spending the past one month planning the route, locations and visual directions. We have a lot more to plan, it ain't east but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be good!!! I will reveal the webstore that I am working with when the time is right.

MY DREAM WEDDING X V.WANG


It is such a exhilarating experience to put on a gown. I have never ever thought that I would one day be able to be in one, at least not so soon! I’m not getting married though. My Dream Wedding and I have teamed up for a series of collaboration in creating contemporary wedding visuals.

My Dream Wedding is originated from Hong Kong and is a renowned regional-focused bridal boutique. The company’s objective is to grant people the dream wedding that they envisioned. They seek improvement and new ideas constantly and do not hold back in experimenting new concepts.
This is why it was possible for me to give my ideas and perspective to My Dream Wedding about what I envision a contemporary wedding to be like.
They are open to know and understand what an individual wants.

In this series of visuals, I was going for a super sleek and minimal look,

No additional props were used. The focus is to give a futuristic; almost laboratory like of ambience and the make up was created to give a bold and cold look.
This is something most people would not think of when the word wedding pops out. Instead of the usual happy and cheerful vibe, what I wanted to express/convey is the character.


Every individual is different in their own ways, some people are all sunshine and always in a cheerful mode. Some are stern and cool. To me, a wedding portrait should portray the true image of an individual and thus the concept.
The series is created solely based on my dream wedding (literally). If I am going to get married, my wedding portrait would probably along the line!

This dress is the first that caught my eye the very moment I step foot into My Dream Wedding’s beautiful shop house office at 33 Tras Street.
The embellishments on those mesh sleeves is simply gorgeous!

To sum up, my experience with My dream Wedding, it has been great and I was able to truly express my concept with the openness and efficiency of the team.

My Dream Wedding and I will be working on a couple more series of visuals so stay close!

INNISFREE PLAYGREEN FESTIVAL



안녕하세요!

This year has been a year of opportunities for me, I’m really blessed to be able to work for something I love, meet new people, learn new things and experience life in such great ways!

If you have been catching up with me on Instagram, you would know that I was in Seoul just a couple weeks back. Most of you probably don’t know exactly why I was there; it was a rather short trip to begin with!

Innisfree and I have been working together for a campaign on their new Jeju Sparkling Mineral Line products and I was given the opportunity to travel to Seoul to attend their annual PLAYGREEN FESTIVAL.

For those who are not familiar with the brand, Innisfree is a skincare & beauty brand inspired by the natural ingredients from Jeju Island, Korea. They believe in all things natural and pursue eco-friendly practices from their product packaging to empty bottle recycling program.

During the trip, I get to join in the fun and experience life with the consciousness of being eco-friendly! It was a back-to-back, non-stop activity throughout the whole journey! 

The festival took place at Yongsan Family Park where eco-friendly activities await their fellow brand lovers! It’s a pretty huge park and I remember clearly how awesome the weather was. It was sunny yet cooling, best combination in my opinion.

Throughout the day there were two very lovely interpreters, constantly making sure that everything was smooth sailing. The crowd that turned up was massive! Honestly, I was overwhelmed!!! They were all very enthusiastic with the activities even the males!

Lee Min Ho, the ambassador of Innisfree was there as well! It was my first time seeing a celebrity in real life and witnessing how crazy the fans were! He sure does look fine and I can’t help but adore the pale grey suit that he was wearing.

LUXOLA INFLUENCER TAKEOVER SEASON 2

HOLA PEOPLE!!! It's the Luxola Influencer Takeover Season 2!
I didn't think that I'll be making more videos after the first video of my life in the previous season of Luxola Influencer Takeover Season 1. Honestly it is still very intimidating and awkward for me to speak in front of the camera.
I've been wearing glasses since I was 5 and it has definitely played a huge part in my life, in terms of learning how to style, match those glasses with the right make up, right accessories and clothing.
I would say glasses are pretty tricky as they can either be of great help (as an accessory) or a disaster that causes you to look a little, if you'd pardon me, pretentious/nerd. 

Choosing the right frame to suit your face is very important. There are many online guides available, just key in "glasses for different face shapes", or something along that line. You will be able to find sufficient articles to give you a better understanding of your face shape and the types of glasses that will compliment you!

Before I conclude this post, I'd like to thank Luxola for the opportunity and also fellow friends/viewers that have watched the video, gave me the thumbs up and also the honest/constructive comments. I would like to take this time to address 
some comments regarding contouring in this video.

I am fully aware now that I've seen the make up on the video and that the contouring section ain't great, especially on the nose area. It is my first time trying out the conturing kit from Alcina and I wasn't expecting it to be so pigmented/intense as compared to the usual 3CE or gel Sculpt from Illamasqua that I use. 

On set, I had really strong light beaming onto my face and so that led to my decision on stronger conturing. Trust me, the team and I were pretty shocked when I was contouring my nose. I think I dabbed on a little too much and used too much force contouring. The team pointed it out and we tried our best to lighten and blend it out as much as we can without disrupting the flow of the video. I'm extremely bummed this had to happen!

I hate to say it, but in conclusion, after looking at the end result of the video, I didn't manage to salvage it :/

product placement



Did some product shoot for @triwaworld recently, product placement seems easy but it takes much more effort than you think. I kind of enjoy the trial and error process, hit me up if you would like to collaborate in creative product visuals! ;)
